Shawnii and Jake, Wollongong. The first time I met Jake, a couple of years ago, he was asking for cash around the train station. I gave him a few bucks which he used to buy some chips and a drink for the young child in his care. He was looking after a shoeless 4 year old. Jake is a very nice guy, always ready with conversation. He tells me he’s keeping out of trouble.
